It’s time to register for Volunteer Weekend!
A fixture of Shadowcliff history, Volunteer Weekend is a celebration of service! Volunteers spanning all generations join us on site in Grand Lake to help with a variety of tasks that prepare Shadowcliff for the season ahead. Lodging is provided, along with multiple meals, and ample opportunity to meet and connect with new people. Whether you’ve been coming to Volunteer Weekend for decades, or you’re considering it for the first time — you are welcome!
Tasks for Volunteer Weekend are varied and we might not know what exactly needs to be done until that week, but you can expect things like: Small repair jobs, helping out in the kitchen with meals and/or dishes, cleaning, organizing, chopping wood, weeding/pruning/trail restoration, painting and staining, moving/hauling, sewing, and more! There will be plenty to do for volunteers of all ages and abilities.
