Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge is a mountain sanctuary dedicated to healing, growth, hospitality, and community. Nestled on the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park, Shadowcliff serves as an educational non-profit lodge and retreat center.
As a nonprofit retreat center, Shadowcliff hosts various organizations that utilize off-site group experiences to serve their audiences. Whether it's a team-building retreat, an experiential workshop, or a respite for clients and their families, the group experiences at Shadowcliff are unparalleled. In fact, some groups have been returning to Shadowcliff for multiple decades, a testament to the unique and transformative experiences offered here.

Shadowcliff is absolutely my happy place! People are genuine, kind and helpful, creating a kind of community as all types of guests come and go. You can use the fully equipped guest kitchen and when the lodge is cooking for a group you can ask to purchase one of their delicious, healthy meals. The rooms in the lodges are clean and simple with newer beds. There are shared bathrooms, or you can rent a cabin for more privacy. You can’t beat the views anywhere in Grand Lake, with a rushing river running right along the property perched on a cliff so you can see all the way across the lakes to the Never Summer Range. The main lodge has a fireplace where one night we were able to roast s’mores. Lots of board games for kids. A short walk from the property gets you two Rocky Mountain National Park trails or to the main little town or marina.
