Shadowcliff’s most versatile cabin, Fireside offers space for gathering, relaxing, and reconnecting with nature. Its expansive living room, large stone fireplace, and open kitchen create a warm, communal atmosphere for families, friends, and small groups.
The cabin can be rented as one large unit (Fireside Entire) or divided into two self-contained spaces (Upper Fireside and Lower Fireside) connected by an interior stairway. Each option offers its own charm, privacy, and mountain views.

Fireside Entire
Accommodates: 5–6 adults
Beds:
- One bunk bed (double bed/child-size twin)
- Two queen beds
- One queen futon
Layout:
The main floor offers a bright family room with books, games, couches, tables, and a large stone fireplace framed by picture windows overlooking the river and forest. The full kitchen includes all essentials: plates, utensils, drinking ware, and cookware. A full bathroom includes a shower/bath combo.
A stairway from the living room leads to a sleeping loft with a queen bed and bunk bed, alongside a powder bath. Outside, enjoy a picnic table, outdoor grill, side deck, and hammock—perfect for mountain mornings or evening stargazing.
Stairs from the kitchen connect to the lower level, a cozy, private suite-style space with a queen bed, couch, additional seating, and a kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink). The lower level also includes a bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. The deck just outside the door is perfect for morning coffee.
Rates:
- $465 per night for up to 6 adults
- $450 per night for 5 nights or more
- +$25 per night for each additional guest (age 8+)
Upper Fireside
Accommodates: 3-4 adults
Beds:
- One bunk bed (double bed/child-size twin)
- One queen bed
- One queen futon

Fireside Lower
Accommodates: 2 adults
Beds:
- One queen bed
Layout:
Lower Fireside offers a cozy, private suite-style space with a queen bed, couch, additional seating, and a kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink). It contains a bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. The deck just outside the door is perfect for morning coffee.
Rates:
- $180 per night for up to 2 people
- $170 per night for 5 nights or more
- +$25 per night for each additional guest (age 8+)
Cabin Policies
- Minimum Stay: Three nights
- Check-In: 3:00 PM
- Check-Out: 10:00 AM
- Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at booking
- Linens: All guests are given towels and a lovingly folded linen packet upon arrival;Â guests make their own beds
- Housekeeping: Daily housekeeping service is not provided in the cabins
- Smoking: No smoking anywhere on Shadowcliff grounds, lodges, or cabins — this includes tobacco products, cigars, pipes, marijuana (medical or otherwise), and electronic smoking devices.
- Pets: No pets are permitted anywhere on the Shadowcliff property.
- Camping & Vehicles: Camping, sleeping in vehicles, or overnight parking for this purpose are not permitted anywhere on the Shadowcliff grounds. All guests must stay in designated accommodations.

Cancellations:
- Within 24 hours of booking: Full refund.
- After 24 hours and up to 14 days before arrival: Loss of half of the 50% deposit.
- Within 14 days of arrival: Loss of the full 50% deposit.
- Changing dates: If your plans change, we’re happy to work with you to find new dates. Deposits are transferable to different dates within the same season. Please call us at 970-627-9220 for assistance.
