Critters, Creeks & Crows: A Family Nature Adventure

Unplug and reconnect with your family.

June 21st-23rd, 2019

Shadowcliff’s annual call to come out with your family to learn and play in the Rockies, our family camp is a welcome blend of planned activity and family downtime. Join us for a long weekend to reconnect with each other and our beautiful Colorado home.

Program

Led by former Rocky Mountain National Park Ranger and third generation Coloradan Gail Spinden, families enjoy a wide variety of activities. We like to grow and refresh programming for Critters from year to year, so you can make this a family tradition that will bring something new every time. But one thing always remains true no matter the year: this is an unplugged, device-free camp. While there may be a movie if the weather turns, the focus is on being present, together.

Trips into Rocky Mountain National park to see wildlife, water experiences, hikes, movement, art, and downtime are all plentiful. This is ideal for families with kiddos ages 6 and up. Families with younger children are welcome, we just ask that you connect with us before signing up to make sure this is right for your family.

Critters 2019 Schedule

We love this family camp, but don’t take our word for it. See what one mom has to say about the experience her family had in the blog post Getting Away to Be Together.
