Give the “Gift of Your Story” this Season

June 17 – June 21, 2019

“The Gift of Your Story” –  a Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge Signature Event!

Give the gift of a lifetime!   Our personal stories are unique treasures.  Discover, claim, and preserve these irreplaceable gems, or invite a cherished friend into this experience.

In your own life- or in the life of a person whom you respect- are profound tales of transpersonal significance. Within each of us is a hidden wealth of wisdom and insight. Your stories reveal what you know and value, and they can become a legacy every bit as valuable as personal property. What gives your life meaning? What experiences have shaped you? Reflect upon and learn how to share this valuable material.

The Program

Weaving together a wonderful mix of writing technique, personal reflection, and outdoor experience, this workshop will move you to a deep openness to creativity and expression. The exquisite environment of the Shadowcliff retreat center provides a place apart for reflection and renewal. Writing activities will focus on values and experiences that give meaning, writing techniques appropriate to this kind of project, and an option to share what you write. Optional outdoor activities will include exploring the beautiful Grand Lake area by boat, by foot, and perhaps by car (for wildlife viewing), plus time for relaxing either alone or together with new found friends. Come on this amazing journey with us!

Registration will open January 2019.

Come experience this all-inclusive 5 day, 4 night getaway for:

  • $555/person double occupancy
  • $695/person single occupancy
