Gwen Obermeyer and Kelly Yarbrough are both longtime friends of Shadowcliff. They both live in central Kansas, and have overlapping interests in creativity and conservation solutions.
Gwen is an experienced program and development officer, working on large scale conservation projects with organizations such as the Nature Conservancy and Tompkins Conservation.
Kelly is a visual artist, founder of the Tallgrass Artist Residency, and Art & Environment specialist for the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission.
Gwen and Kelly presented and discussed some of the foundations of “Rewilding” conservation and other creative approaches to conservation.
