Shadowcliff Opens for the Season on Memorial Day. Now Taking Reservations!

We Escaped the East Troublesome Flames, but unfortunately NOT the Smoke

We are all so grateful that Shadowcliff was spared from the flames of the devastating East Troublesome fire in October. Unfortunately,  our property did sustain significant smoke damage. We are working through our insurance company, and have engaged a firm to ensure we are toxin-free and safe for everyone to return for the opening of the summer season.

This will be a major project and will require significant attention from staff and the Board of Directors. Most of the costs will be covered by our insurance, so thankfully it should not become a serious financial burden.

We will keep you informed as this endeavor progresses.

Booking for Cabins and Lodges Coming Soon!

We learned a great deal in 2020 about how to ensure the safety of our guests through the COVID 19 crisis. We have been working hard to update our policies and cleaning protocols for the latest CDC and Grand County Public Health protocols for the 2021 season as well. We are extremely happy to announce that we intend to open both the cabins and the lodges.

When you book your stay, we will provide more detailed information about what to expect, our social distancing and masking policies, etc.

We will be taking all reservations by phone or email. Our online reservation system will not be available this season. Please direct general questions regarding reservations to Emily Cesca, emily@shadowcliff.org.
