Our time together at Shadowcliff ends this week, but that has not kept the staff at here in Grand Lake, Colorado from their hard work wrapping up the season. Meet two of our wonderful staff members – Mary and Mat:

- What is something you would definitely want in your dream home? Starlight ceiling

- Favorite activity in Grand Lake: Hiking
- Do you have a weird talent/skill? What is it: A pretty decent demon voice

- If you were stranded on an island what three items would you want to have with you? Guitar, rechargeable flashlight, and a knife.
- What famous and/or historical figure, dead or alive, would you want to have dinner with and what is one question you would ask? Ruth Bader Ginsburg. What do you consider your greatest accomplishment and why?

- What made you want to work at Shadowcliff? I wanted to experience a new work environment in a beautiful location, while getting to meet people who stay and/or volunteer here.

- If you could be an expert in anything, what would it be? Philosophy
- Favorite movie: Garden State
- What is something you would definitely want in your dream home? A greenhouse to grow spices
- The next place you would like to visit? Any national parks in Utah
- Favorite activity in Grand Lake: Hiking and watching wildlife
- Do you have a weird talent/skill? What is it: I can stick two quarters up my nose.
- What was your first pet? A black lab
- If you were stranded on an island what three items would you want to have with you? A survival guide, a hatchet, and a guitar.
- What famous and/or historical figure, dead or alive, would you want to have dinner with and what is one question you would ask? It would have to be either Jim Harrison or Ernest Hemingway and I’d ask either of them about their discipline and process when writing their novels.
