Shadowcliff's leadership has been hard at work discerning the best course of action for our 2020 Summer season. In mid-April, we sent you an email cancelling on-site Volunteer Weekend and delaying our regular season opening time.
Since then, and with careful attention to daily updates from the state of Colorado as well as Grand County, we have made the following determinations for the 2020 season:• Shadowcliff will not be hosting on-site groups.
• Rempel and Cliffside lodges (and hostels) will not be opening.
• Meal service from our Compassionate Kitchen will not be available.
We are, however, hoping to open all three cabins (Overlook, Fireside, and RiverBend) starting in the first week of July. State and local travel guidelines continue to evolve, though, and we will use these parameters to guide our decisions. Stay tuned.
