A CAMPAIGN OF GRATITUDE … RE-INSPIRING THE JOURNEY

Warren and Patt Rempel’s vision created a mountain sanctuary that has “inspired the journey” for thousands — individuals and families and groups – from across the globe.  Today, over 60 years later, it’s time to RE-inspire thousands more who will journey to Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge.

At their retirement in 2002, the Rempels “gifted” a $1.7 million facility to us – this generation – for only $350,000, a mere 20% of its value!  This year on the occasion of Patt’s July 27th Memorial Service, three  annual installments remained, totaling $60,000.  Retiring our Debt to the Rempel Family and Re-inspiring our Journey became the dream of our Board of Directors when we committed to a $60,000 Campaign of Gratitude in 2019.

Soon after the Board committed to raise the $60,000, a generous anonymous donor offered $20,000 as a “matching gift” IF the balance could be raised by September 30th. The Board added $10,000 to the matching fund so that every dollar donated thereafter would be doubled.

Each dollar given to the “Campaign of Gratitude” will be matched if we reach our goal by September 30th!

Repaying the Rempel Family two years early will Inspire the Journey for another generation by freeing funds to invest in Shadowcliff’s future vision stated as — Harnessing the power of connection, we inspire a more kind and loving world.
