Gratitude Update

A CAMPAIGN OF GRATITUDE … 25% in first 15 days!

Update: Generosity abounds!  In the first 15 days of our 60 day campaign, we have received 25% of our $30,000 goal!  Thank you to all who have supported the fulfillment of our pledge to the Rempel legacy. Our momentum is strong, and we need your help to ensure we meet the remainder of our $30,000 goal by September 30th to receive the 100% matching fund pledge dollars.

Highlight: One of Shadowcliff’s five core values focuses on Community, and along with many generous individual gifts, communities within Shadowcliff have come together to support this future work as well. One of the Lead Communities that showed incredible generosity and early support was our 2019 Season Staff!  The staff’s generosity has propelled other communities like former board members, volunteers, former staff, and many others to consider giving as a group. Thank you 2019 Staff!

Investing in Shadowcliff’s Future: We are committed to investing in three primary areas that will enable Shadowcliff to thrive – People, Prosperity & Place. Examples of possible future investments include creating a scholarship program, creating additional Shadowcliff Signature programming, enhancing support of seasonal staff, incorporating additional environmentally friendly upgrades (ex: solar panels), upgrading lodges and cabins, and enhancing our marketing and outreach efforts.

At Shadowcliff, as is true with most small nonprofits, there is always more to do than time or money will allow, which is why it’s important to be diligent and strategic about prioritizing how and where we invest. The Board of Directors will be working closely with staff, conducting additional research on the potential areas identified here and having strategic conversations for re-allocating funds made available as a result of this campaign. An update on our progress will be provided after the fall board retreat.

Remember:  Each dollar given to the “Campaign of Gratitude” will be matched if we reach our goal by September 30th!
