It’s almost time for Shadowcliff to “spring open”
Can you help us with these needed projects?
Last year, volunteer teams led by board director Duncan Foss helped Shadowcliff completely rebuild the deck behind Rempel Lodge. Not only did they reinforce the necessary structure – they also managed to add a new outdoor seating nook just outside the guest kitchen door!
This is just one example of the major projects that Shadowcliff volunteers have accomplished over the years, prior to the lodge’s opening at the end of May. As a nonprofit organization, Shadowcliff depends on the contributions of volunteers and donors in order to care for our facilities. Even so, with supplies and service prices increasing, it costs $10,000-15,000 each year to complete needed repairs and open Shadowcliff to the public each May.
Below are a few facilities projects on our list for this May. Please consider supporting these efforts by clicking here to donate online. If you’re interested in sponsoring the completion of a particular project, please contact Facilities committee chair Duncan Foss: [email protected]
