Women’s Retreat Offers Renewal through Creativity

This August, the Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge will welcome a group of women ready to reconnect to their personal passion, creativity, and inspiration. Our upcoming women’s workshop: Rest, Renew, Create promises to bring you closer to your deeper self and spark creativity and connection as you move through activities geared toward self reflection and expression. 

The Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge is the perfect place for this experience. With expansive mountain views, quiet meditative spaces, a rushing river, and plenty of area trails to explore, workshop participants have many opportunities to deepen their connection to self and the wider natural world. 

“We will welcome our creative selves into the room with respect and appreciation,” says retreat leader Krystala Kalil. As the Founder of Igniting Powerful Women, Krystala understands the need to bring women together to connect and inspire each other. “We sometimes feel burned out, exhausted, or bored and need to rediscover our joy and passion.” And that’s exactly what Rest, Renew, Create participants can look forward to. 

In addition to scheduled group activities, each person will have unscheduled time to explore Grand Lake and the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. There are two trailheads within a five minute walk from Shadowcliff and Grand Lake itself is only a ten minute walk from the Lodge. Grand Lake is the headwaters of the Colorado River and the largest natural lake in the state; kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding are great ways to explore.
