We learned a lot today… about how fire containment works, and how the maps reflect this work.

The photo above was sent to us by Sue Rempel’s nephew, Ben, who is a fire fighter working in the area. He has taken special care to let us know how things are looking for Shadowcliff, for Karen & Peter Rempel’s home, and for the Town of Grand Lake. Thank you, Ben!!

Right now the winds are high, snow is coming. We will remain vigilante in our watch of how the situation evolves and send another report tomorrow. Thank you for the incredible outpouring of love and concern from our remarkable Shadowcliff community. It matters that we walk this path together.
