1999-2000: The Rempel’s work with Bob Mann for about a year on plans to “sell Shadowcliff. On Labor Day Volunteer Weekend in September 2000 after conversations with many friends they decide NOT to sell Shadowcliff and to “give it away” with recorded restrictions on the use. 1977: Ecumenikos (first group) came to Shadowcliff for the first time July 14 or 15 launching along term love affair with many people from that community.
