1980: Cliffside Lodge is completed (Peter  Rempel-Warren and Patt’s son) is primary carpenter/builder). 1981: The Chapel is completed—Chet Fleming’s stone work is the fireplace; Randy Friesen’s first designed building as architect 1989: First year of the Suzanna Del Vecchio Belly Dance retreat 1991: Shadowcliff  plans and hosts the first HIV-Aids retreat which has continued annually.

Laundry Sustainability Efforts

Shadowcliff created a policy to only purchase ENERGY STAR appliances, such as washing machines and dryers.
